   Very good point. Textures can add depth and make your project more interesting. These will be very useful with an overlay blending mode. Thanks for sharing!

    @ janice Moss – if you use a mac then try the free version of Stuffit http://my.smithmicro.com/win/stuffit/index.html

    If you use a pc then use winzip

    Let me know if that helps.

    Just to let you, this file is unopenable. I read where other ppl have experienced probs with some files also. Not only with this file, but also with “16 Fractal Photoshop Brushes”.

    Downloaded on my Mac (OS X 10.3.9) using Firefox and Interarchy (incase it was download issue). However, in the case of unzipping the paper textures, Stuffit Expander reported: “Format Error: #17540″. In the case of unzipping the brushes, Expander reported: “Engine internal error: #17999. HOWEVER, it did manage to unzip and give me the file: “digital-artist-toolbox_fractal.abr”. So, perhaps in some weird way it worked.

    Downloaded “Paper Textures” on the PC (XP) using Firefox. Unzip error reported: “Unknown Compression Error”.

    Still can’t get the Paper Textures That’s what I initially came for. So Sad. Have you tried to d/l and expand from your site?

    @ Tracy Chamblee – digital-artist-toolbox_fractal.abr is the brush file you add to photoshop.

    As far as the paper textures they download and unzip fine for me. I really wish I could figure this out.

    Anyone have any ideas?

    Just to let you, that I got them unzipped successfully using WinZip, as you suggested. However, it is an inconvenience, because the free PC utility (FreeZip) could not open it either, nor can Stuffit Expander. Maybe zipped files with WinZip can open be unzipped with WinZip. If so, they’re scamming ppl. I can tell you that I won’t buy the WinZip once the evaluation period is over, because this is the only time I’ve ever encountered a problem like this, and there’s too many free programs to do the same job -or so they should. Anyway, thanks. I do appreciate the textures!!
